The Process

Ancient Bilona Method

The Bilona method is a centuries-old Vedic process. Whole milk from desi cows is first curdled into dahi (yogurt), then hand-churned using a wooden churner (bilona) to separate the butter. This butter is slowly simmered over a low flame until the golden, aromatic ghee emerges.

Unlike industrial methods, Bilona ghee retains all essential nutrients, healthy fats, and the unmistakable aroma that makes it a superfood revered in Ayurveda for thousands of years.
